After six years of employment as a design professional in Southern California,
John Vandevelde established his own architectural firm in 1999. While
past experience provided exposure to a wide variety of building types including
educational, religious, restaurant, & golf course facilities, Vandevelde Architects
continues to focus primarily on private, single-family residences and small commercial projects.
Based in the small foothill community of Sierra Madre, our firm designs entirely
new structures as well as remodels and additions. The majority of our projects
are located in the nearby cities of La Canada Flintridge, Pasadena, Monrovia and Arcadia,
but past and current project include sites in Claremont, Laguna Hills, Beverly Hills,Toluca Lake, and Pacific
Palisades.
